[2006 Project] Volley Ball Court by Class of 1991

In March 2006, the Class of 1991 embarked on a second project for FGCE. This time towards improvement of the recreational facilities of the school. According to Emeka Egbuonye (Class Ambassador of Class of 1991), we completed the construction of a volley ball court in the area close to the main sports field. The total project cost N250,000 and the project team comprised of Dr. Chinedu Anosike, Dr. Obinna Anikwe and Emeka Egbuonye. Dr Obinna Anikwe who resides in Enugu, helped with the supervision of the construction.

[2004 Project] Computer Equipment & Books by Class of 1991

On May 28, 2004, FGCE class of 1991 completed a N400,000 (naira) project aimed at giving back to our Alma mater.  The project which took four months to complete, was coordinated by Emeka Egbuonye with Ebuka Ofor and Olisa Aghanya as focal points in Nigeria .  Contributions came from 47 members of the class based in US, UK and Nigeria. 10 class members traveled back to FGC Enugu (9 from Nigeria and 1 from the UK) for the presentation of materials to the school. Mrs B. About Federal Government College Enugu (FGCE) Project Hope is a Partnership between FGCE old students and Federal Government College Enugu to bring life back to the school and inspire the students to achieve their dreams despite present day challenges. The project initiated in October 2008, is aimed at supporting the school authorities in their efforts to raise infrastructure, academic, discipline and social responsibility standards, to global levels.
