Fellow alumni... As we go about our daily lives with work, school, family and friends, we cannot forget those of us who enjoyed the years in FGCE as students or teachers, but are no longer among their loved ones today. Some have been taken by acts of violence, acts of nature, or maybe some have fulfilled their purpose on this earth, and have been called back by God to join the angels. Hail ye! Hail ye!! Remember the fun we had almost 2 months ago in the ATL? Meeting old friends, hugging old and new friends, being wowed that there were actually alumni from 1981 and 1999 in the same room? The pictures on Facebook are a good reminder, a nostalgic push, possibly a visual of what some people missed!!! Well, the wait for an encore performance is over! Fellow alumni, It is with great pleasure, that we announce the election of Arc Ikechukwu Agbim, AIA, NCARB as the Board Chairman of AFGCEAA. Voting was carried out during a board meeting, the week of 8/22/2014; and was presided over by Nnaemeka Osakwe (President, AFGCEAA). About Ike Agbim Arc Ike Agbim attended FGCE from 1978-1983, and belonged to Independence House. During his years in FGCE, he was a member of Debating Society and Drama Club, and eventually appointed Labor Prefect. Fellow Alumni..., We would like to use this opportunity to thank all of those who participated in the survey re: our Atlanta 2014 event. As you know, we cannot move this "groove" forward without input from our brothers and sisters.
