Meeting old friends, hugging old and new friends, being wowed that there were actually alumni from 1981 and 1999 in the same room? Fellow alumni, It is with great pleasure, that we announce the election of Arc Ikechukwu Agbim, AIA, NCARB as the Board Chairman of AFGCEAA. Voting was carried out during a board meeting, the week of 8/22/2014; and was presided over by Nnaemeka Osakwe (President, AFGCEAA). About Ike Agbim Arc Ike Agbim attended FGCE from 1978-1983, and belonged to Independence House. During his years in FGCE, he was a member of Debating Society and Drama Club, and eventually appointed Labor Prefect. What was the original FGCE school uniform color? What were the original names of the school houses? Discover answers to these, other intriguing facts and information about Federal Government College Enugu… The original FGCE school uniform was all white.  Shirt and shorts/Trousers for boys and dresses for girls.  During the 1976/77 session, a new uniform was introduced by Fasuyi.  This had an iteration of a shirt and blouse (buba style) with green logo bands at the arm and pockets at waist level. Class of 1983 alum, IK Agbim, AIA, NCARB, an Architect & Developer based in Washington, DC contributed generously to the welfare of FGCE during his visit in February 2014 by donating the following items: 500 plastic chairs for the school Assembly Hall Four commercial burners to support the school kitchen Awarded prizes to three categories at the 41st Inter-House Sports Competition namely Best Dressed House, School Band and the Charity Organizations For 2015, he also pledged N100,000 award to the school house with the most attendance at the 2015 Inter-House games.  The money will go towards improving the performance (via a sports program) of the winning house.
